I began a personnel staffing firm, Satilla Temps, in 1980, just after our small, rural community had been named the site of the Navy's East Coast Trident Submarine Base. Now, more than 20 years later, Camden County is a thriving area to both live and do business. Residents appreciate not only Kings Bay and its stable economy, but the service and hospitality businesses that emerged to serve the new people. | ||||||

More than that, we're grateful for the mutual respect and camaraderie of our military, business and civilian communities.

| Camden County employers benefit by a flexible, well-trained work force. Each day at our Satilla Temps office, we interview people from all segments of the population - seniors who want to continue to work, military spouses, retired military ready to begin second careers, and parents re-entering the work force after raising families. Because many of our applicants have a military or civil service connection, they have often lived in various parts of the world and bring a unique adaptability and strong work ethic to the workplace.
As a resident of Camden County for over 22 years, and as a parent of two children who were educated in our public school system, I constantly tell new residents that Woodbine, Kingsland, and St. Marys are great places to live, work, and raise a family. |
