| On the Banks of the Satilla River and in the Heart of Camden County... In 1923, Woodbine was designated the county seat of Camden. Site of the historic Camden County Courthouse (still used for county offices today), Woodbine is a quaint southern town rich with values, beauty and charm. The Woodbine Crawfish Festival (held annually in April) draws thousands to the Satilla River boardwalk for live music, shopping, good times and, of course the crawfish! In 2000, Woodbine was one of 25 Georgia cities named a Better Hometown Community by the Georgia Municipal Association. Woodbine offers the best of two worlds...a new south attitude with old south charm. A wonderful place to call home! | ||
