The people of Camden County create a quality of life second to none.
An excellent home for families, Camden County offers great public schools, higher educational opportunities and affordable housing in friendly, community oriented neighborhoods. The drive to work is virtually traffic free and there is always a parking space at the grocery store. There is a cornucopia of religious organizations with weekly services and year round involvement in the community. For secular involvement in the community, residents can join national organizations (Rotary Club, Lions Club, Kiwanis, etc.) and local organizations (Arts Camden, New Comers Club, Military Community Council, etc.).

For those who are working for the weekend, the beaches and recreational choices are endless. Camden County has 21 community parks, a recreation center complex and several community pools (including the new St. Marys Aquatic Center). With the mild climate, it is always tee time at two of the Southeast's premier golf courses: Osprey Cove and Laurel Island Links (with over 50 more courses within an hours drive). For nature lovers, there is the Cumberland Island National Seashore, Crooked River State Park, Satilla River board walk, St. Marys River and your own backyard. Boaters can launch from the St. Marys Marina and sail to Cumberland Island, Fernandina Beach, Florida or out to sea to fish in the Atlantic Ocean. If you are looking for a weekend getaway, Camden County is only a 20 minute drive from Jacksonville, Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island and the Okefenokee Swamp, a 30 minute drive to St. Simon's and Jekyll Islands and only a short drive to Charleston, Savannah, St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, Cape Canaveral, Orlando and Tampa.
